ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Abstracts should be written in English and sent until 22nd July 2019 to the email abstracts.bioinc@gmail.com indicating the preferred form of presentation - oral or poster. Authors will be notified about the Organizer’s decision after 25th July 2019. Students can apply to Almirante Paulo Moreira Awards.
Abstract Format:
1. Page setup: A4 portrait.
2. Font: Cambria, 12pt, black, single spaced.
3. Margins:
Upper: 2,5 cm
Inner: 3,5 cm
Left: 3,5 cm
Right: 2,5 cm
4. Title of abstract: centered, capital and bold.
5. Authors in bold (include full list), double spaced after title.
6. Next line in italics: Institution and mailing addresses.
7. The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, the principal results and major conclusions.
8. Financial support if there were any.
Obs: Abstracts should not exceed one page.
Oral Presentation Information:
The official language of the meeting is English. All oral presentations should be in English. Authors will have 15 minutes to present their talk, followed by 5 minutes of questions.
Poster Presentation Information:
1. Poster size should be: 0,90 m x 1,00 m.
2. All material presented should be in English.
Lightning Talks
Lightning talks are strictly-timed 2 minutes oral presentations intended to provide support to the presentations of the Poster Session. It is a great way to get early feedback on your research and in case of students participating in Almirante Paulo Moreira Awards is a great way to give a good impression to the committee and improve the comprehension of your research. Lightning Talks is mandatory for poster presenters and will be schedule before the Poster Session. One slide should be prepared showing the poster or the maximum of two slides will be accept summarizing the main results described in the poster.
